The initial research and selection process was carried out by the Consortium Management Team at the European & International Programs
It should be noted that, as foreseen in the successful accreditation application, all school units participating in the Consortium are newcoming organizations to the Erasmus Program, with the aim of gaining initial experience of the program’s requirements and benefits. To support this process, the Team responsible for drafting the successful application and Managing the Consortium, based at the European & International Programs Office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus, organized two training meetings for school principals and Erasmus coordinators from all member schools and undertook the overall coordination of the project. Sixteen teachers from an equal number of schools travelled to Rome and Florence to attend structured courses, while eighteen teachers from an equal number of schools visited nine European schools to participate in job shadowing activities.
