We are pleased to announce the successful completion of all planned teacher mobility activities involving 34 schools participating in the Erasmus+ Consortium of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus. The mobilities included visits to host schools in France, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary, Portugal, and Romania for job shadowing activities, as well as participation in structured courses in Italy.
The Director of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus and Legal Representative of the Consortium, Dr Dionysios Anastasopoulos, extends his warm congratulations to the Directors and pedagogical teams of all member schools.
The activities addressed the full range of objectives of the Directorate’s Erasmus Plan: Digital Tools for Teaching and Learning; Education for Cultural Heritage and Global Citizenship; Education for Climate Change; and Education for Democratic Values and Active Citizenship. The teacher mobilities to European host schools and the structured course provider took place between 11 March and 8 May 2026.

The planning, scheduling, organization, coordination, implementation of the mobility activities, and dissemination of results were carried out by the Management Team of the Accredited Erasmus Consortium at the European & International Programs Office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus. The team consists of Dr Maria Karyotaki, Education Advisor (Economy), Dr Eleni Tsourapa, Educator (Modern Greek and History), and Aikaterini Christodoulou, Educator (English as a Foreign Language). The overall coordination activities of the Consortium, together with the activities implemented by the member schools within the framework of Project 2025-1-EL01-KA121-SCH-00344561, will be presented at a special thematic conference in October 2026 organized by the European & International Programs Office of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus, as part of the international Erasmus Days 2026 celebration.
