4 March 2026: TRAINING AND COORDINATION MEETING FOR BENEFICIARIES OF THE ERASMUS+
CONSORTIUM OF THE DIRECTORATE OF SECONDARY EDUCATION OF PIRAEUS

The hybrid training and coordination meeting of the 34 teachers from an equal number of member schools of the Erasmus+ Consortium of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus, organized and coordinated by the program management team of the Directorate’s Office of European and International Programs, took place on Wednesday, 4 March 2026 online and in presentia at Ralleio Junior and Senior Highschool of Piraeus. The meeting opened with a speech by the Director and Consortium Coordinator of the Directorate of Secondary Education of Piraeus, Dr Dionysios Anastasopoulos. In his address, he referred to the key criteria for the successful implementation of the mobilities, such as the collaborative and extrovert mindset of the participating teachers, the networking actions undertaken during their stay at the host organizations that will contribute to the internationalization of the school units, and the dissemination of newly acquired knowledge to their colleagues upon their return, in order to maximize the program’s multiplier impact.
During the two-hour meeting, Ms Maria Kariotaki and Ms Katerina Christodoulou focused on technical aspects of the mobility procedures for both types of activities: participation in structured courses and job shadowing. They referred to the actions required from the participating teachers before, during and after the mobility, in accordance with the Quality Standards and the implementation rules set out in the Erasmus Programme Guide. Particular
emphasis was placed on the completion of work diaries using a specially designed metacognitive recording tool during the mobility period, the daily uploading of training and photographic documentation material to a specially configured platform, and finally on the European Commission’s evaluation tool, EU Survey. The meeting concluded with a discussion, during which the questions raised by the participating teachers were addressed.
We would like to warmly thank the Directors of Ralleio Junior and Ralleio Senior High schools of Piraeus, Mr Politis and Mr Perimenis respectively, Mr Arfanakos, Assistant Director at Ralleio Junior Highschool and Mr Kolokas, ICT teacher at Ralleio Senior Highschool for their valuable assistance in technical matters.
